NSLI-Y has provided overseas language immersion opportunities for over 8,000 U.S. teenagers. Through NSLI-Y, alumni have developed significant language abilities, cultural understanding, and cross-cultural communication skills. They have applied these skills, as well as newfound leadership and problem-solving abilities in their academic, professional, and personal lives to engage globally and to advance  international dialogue.
